Dr. Kira Cooper leads the inner transformation research project at the Waterloo Institute for Social Innovation and Resilience. Her work examines processes of individual and collective readying to better respond to increasing volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA) amidst the metacrisis. In addition to her research at the nexus of inner-outer sustainability transformations, she is also a teacher at several universities, an independent consultant, and co-president of the Environmental Studies Association of Canada.
